Q. What made you plant grapes?

I grew up in St. Catharines. I was intrigued by the industry as a local resident/student. I was inspired, at least in part, by my high school geography teacher. - Len Pennachetti

Tasting Notes

My Fave: The Riesling Estate

From their older vineyards. Bracing acidity and just off-dry in style. Good body and minerality too. I'm thinking great with seafood.

Journal Entry:

They have the oldest functioning wine cellars in Ontario, it's a very good tour. Gorgeous tasting room and delish wines. Had dinner at the Inn, Life should always be this tasty. When you explore the Village, you'll find lots of great shopping! We certainly did - hee hee!
