Rob Power and Craig McDonald

"In Niagara's cool climate wine region, superior viticultural practices are essential for wine quality and healthy vines. Creekside maintains long-term relationships with local growers to maximize the potential of Niagara wines. This cooperative approach lets us react to the whims of our weather i.e. by thinning Cabernet Sauvignon crop levels in a cool year to ensure optimum ripeness at harvest." - Rob Power, Craig McDonald

Tasting Notes

My Fave: Shiraz

A BIG red, wonderfully smoky on the nose with black cherry and vanilla. On the palate I got gorgeous blackberry, cedar - pretty sure there's plum there too.

Journal Entry:

Cool underground barrel cellar, one of the oldest in the area. You can taste some very nice wines including the Mike Weir line up. Fabulous, sunny wine deck with yummy looking menu - they grill up a storm on weekends... yet another reason to check it out!
