David Johnson and Louise Engel have poured their hearts into this 23 acre, eco-friendly wine estate tucked into the Niagara Escarpment. Seasonally, lambs nibble on grape leaves to expose the grapes to sunshine, and a trained hawk scares away the nuisance birds that threaten the harvest. Riesling best captures the terroir but winemaker & grape grower David Johnson also crafts award winning Rose and Cabernet Franc. In the summer, guests can enjoy a cheese board and glass of wine on the farmhouse veranda.
